Well it seems like the University of Ottawa's SFUO have outdone themselves yet again this year. If you recall, to kick off last year's Frosh week, the student union brought French Montana to Ottawa and it was quite the show.

This year, for Fedstock, renamed to "Fedchella", they're bringing in Nav and 88 Glam, two names that have seen international success in the last year. Nav, specifically, who has hit singles such as "Wanted Me" and Myself" is from Rexdale, Ontario. Since his initial SoundCloud claim to fame, he's gone on to work with the likes of Lil' Uzi Vert, The Weeknd, and Drake, as well as having signed to XO.

Similarly, 88 Glam, composed of Derek Wise and Drew Howard, also saw a plethora of success come their way when they dropped their debut self-entitled album, 88 Glam. The duo hails from Toronto and upon the release of the music videos for their records “12” and “Bali”, the group gained a large following. The two are also affiliated with the XO record label.

With that being said, Ottawa native, Ariyan, and Edmonton artist, FRVRFRIDAY, will be opening the the show which should result to a pretty good opening act. NAV has already performed in Ottawa prior to this event but it'll be the first time for 88 Glam so all in all, it's not a show worth missing.

The event takes place on September 2nd at the EY Centre and tickets are being sold for $45 at the SFUO office or NRML. Doors open at 7pm and the show is for students only.

In addition to that, 88 Glam will be hosting the official after-party at PPL Nightclub located in the ByWard Market at 130 George St. Doors for the club open at 11 and cover is set at $25.
